Beau Smith, D.Min., is a spiritual director (soul friend) who desires to walk with people as they discover their life's best story. Whether you're in crisis, faced with a decision and are looking for guidance, or are simply looking to deepen your relationship with the Divine, with yourself, and with others, Beau would be honored to share in that journey with you.
Spiritual Direction/Soul Friendship
Spiritual Direction is deeply rooted in the monastic tradition. Soul friendship is a kind of spiritual direction that comes from an ancient Celtic practice called "Anam Cara" (soul friend). It assumes that the Divine is present and active in all parts of our lives and that a friendship of the soul helps us to make these connections. I as a spiritual director seek to partner with my "directees" to awaken to that Activity and Presence in our work, relationships, family, friends, environment and within.
May you recognize in your life the presence, power, and light of your soul. May you realize that you are never alone, that your soul in its brightness and belonging connects you intimately with the rhythm of the universe.
